Antiguan born poet represents at Medellin

Antiguan born poet, Althea Romeo-Mark, who resides in Switzerland, represented recently at the international poetry festival in Medellin, Columbia (http://www.festivaldepoesiademedellin.org/pub.php/en/Intro/index.htm). She blogged on the experience (http://caribbeanliterarysalon.ning.com/profiles/blogs/medellin-is-the-city-where) declaring that, at Medellin, poets are treated like rock stars. Seriously, check out the link – it’s worth a read. Althea was one of these ‘rock stars’ and copied below is a link to an article from El Colombiano’s Sunday Edition in which an excerpt from one of the Antiguan scribe’s poem and a bit about her sensibility as a poet was published. One catch, it’s in Spanish.
