Forward On! to 2011’s Independence Literary Arts Competition

UPDATE! Only a few days left… also if you’ve got the literary chops and are interested in being a judge, contact the organizers at literaryantigua@yahoo.com or  (268) 562-3198. They’ve used off island judges before so, as far as I know, you don’t even have to be in the country.

Literary Arts Competition

Theme:

“Forward On!”

 


18 years and over.

Each participant may submit a single entry in each of
the following categories.

Poetry: Not more than 350 words  Short story – Not more that 350 words

12-17 years.

Each participant may submit a single entry in each of
the following categories.

Poetry: Not more than 250 words  Short story – Not more that 250 words

11 years and under.

Each participant may submit a single entry in each of
the following categories

Poetry: Not more than 100 words  Short story – Not more that 100 words

All written entries should be submitted electronically
by Friday 14th October 11:59 pm to literaryantigua@yahoo.com along with an electronic application form.

Request this application form by sending an email to literaryantigua@yahoo.com Who can take part: Residence of
Antigua and Antiguan Nationals living in any part of the world.

Late entries will not be accepted

 

SPOKEN WORD COMPETITION

October 15th 2011

 

#1 Village Walk  Best of Books Friars Hill Rd. Branch Starting at 6:30 pm.
Participants will be
grouped in the same three categories as above
