Just thought I’d share a couple of images from my engagement with six graders at Hillside Christian School, one of my St. Martin Book Fair pre-activities.
Clearly, it was fun – fielding their questions, reading from Musical Youth.
Between my schools tour here in Antigua earlier this year, and school stops in St. Croix and Anguilla (well, a library stop in the case of Anguilla but students from all the schools on island were there) it’s been a blessing of opportunities to introduce young people to Zahara and Shaka. They always respond with enthusiasm to read more so, fingers crossed that bookstores on all the named countries order the book.
