Leading Caribbean Poet Tapped for PEN Lifetime Achievement Award

Congratulations to Kamau Brathwaite, winner of the PEN/Voelcker Award for Poetry which goes To a poet whose distinguished and growing body of work represents a notable and accomplished presence in American literature.

He’s one of eight 2018 PEN Lifetime Achievement Award recipients and more importantly one of our own. Big up.
