May 20th 2018 – Call for papers – 13th Annual Conference and Distinguished Lecture (August 16th -17th 2018) – the University of the West Indies Open Campus Antigua and Barbuda, the Antigua and Barbuda Studies Association, and the Antigua and Barbuda Youth Enlightenment Academy. Details re Call for Papers: UWI-ABSA Conference 2018 Call for Papers May 19th 2018 – May 17th 2018 and continuing every Thursday SEASON OVER – Rhythm and Rhyme Open Mic Night at Tannins, located in Valley Church, St. Mary’s, Antigua. Special guest, Dotsie Isaac-Gellizeau, a spoken word artist who has produced 2 spoken word CDs, Absolutely Dotsie and I Am Speaking. Everyone is encouraged to secure their table by 7:45 p.m. to listen to Isaac-Gellizeau and other talented poets, authors, musicians, comedians and spoken word artists. Open-Mic continues weekly during the month of May. Wine, Words and Tannins.
