When Antiguan-Barbudan Authors Meet

This is an impromptu photo op outside the Best of Books bookstore taken back in June. The occasion? A book event for the author on the far right, Canada-based Gayle Gonsalves pictured holding her latest book an Indie Excellence Award finalist in the multi-cultural category (in Canada). The book: My Stories have no Endings.

I am standing next to her holding four of my books – the ones available at the book store on that day, the Spanish language edition of Lost! A Caribbean Sea Adventure, Perdida Una Aventura en el Mar Caribe, my latest The Jungle Outside, my faerie tale With Grace, and my Burt Award winning Musical Youth, named one of Kirkus’ top indies of 2020.

To my right is first time author Ronan Matthew with his book Ruby’s Dream: The Story of a Boy’s Life.

Bookstore manager and author Barbara Arrindell is to the far left of the image with two of her books the colouring book Antigua My Antigua and Turtle Beach.

This is just a sample of the books written by Antiguans and Barbudans. For the full rundown, see Antiguan and Barbudan Writings.
