YouTube is giving a thumbs-down to its longstanding “dislike” feature. In an effort to thwart “dislike attacks” on creators, YouTube said that starting Wednesday (Nov. 10) it will start hiding public dislike counts. The change will roll out gradually across the entire platform. I don’t think I’ve ever hit the dislike button on any YouTube video. If I like it, I tend to watch more (and ultimately subscribe), comment, like – probably in that order, but I don’t ever hit dislike. Because, why?
