Wadadli Pen Trending (10-01-22)

As I did, on my personal/author blog, I thought I would share in a post here the top Wadadli Pen blogs and vlogs in the first week (give or take) of 2022.

Here on the blog, the 1- 5 trending posts or pages (not including the home page) are:

Opportunities Too (which I’m happy to see, as alerting writers/artists to opportunities is a vital part of our service to our community)

New Writing JWP Workshops Start This Week (the first session was January 7th 2022; updated schedule below)

A & B Artistes Discussing Art (Latest addition below)

Antiguan and Barbudan Cultural Icon – Paul King Obstinate Richards (as a bonus, check out this CREATIVE SPACE Playlist which leads off with a King Obstinate classic)

On the Wadadli Pen YouTube Channel (our vlog), there is a top 2:

One, a story from Wadadli Pen’s earliest seasons.

Two, stop on the media tour of our 2021 winner, Kevin Liddie.

This gives me an opportunity to say, with apologies, that I don’t yet know how 2022 is shaking out; hopefully, I’ll be able to say something before the end of the month. But obviously, more volunteers to assist with the YouTube channel, social media, and various administrative and communication tasks would be helpful. As with the previous Wadadli Pen intern, a college student looking for volunteer time and professional development, and possibly a recommendation letter, would be ideal.

As with all content on Wadadli Pen, except otherwise noted, this is written by Joanne C. Hillhouse (author of The Boy from Willow Bend, Dancing Nude in the Moonlight, Musical Youth, With Grace, Lost! A Caribbean Sea Adventure/Perdida! Una Aventura en el Mar Caribe, and Oh Gad!). All Rights Reserved. If you enjoyed it, check out my page on WordPress, and/or Facebook, and help spread the word about Wadadli Pen and my books. You can also subscribe to the site to keep up with future updates. Thanks.
