“Snuggle up with a Good Book”; Make it The Jungle Outside (A Libraries Post)


I came across this image on the facebook page of my local library and it is one of my favourite things (“sunggle” and all). I have been a library advocate for some time – having grown up in a country that did not rebuild its public library for 30+ years after it was destroyed by my country’s most devastating earthquake in modern record. That earthquake was in 1974 and the new library was opened in 2014; I was born in 1973. And I don’t mean to suggest that that there were no library services in my lifetime; there were.
