Hamlet in Antigua announcement via Antiguanice.com

SEE SHAKEPEARE’S GLOBE HAMLET IN A HISTORIC SETTING

Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre is on a two-year global tour of Hamlet that aims to take in every country in the world to celebrate the 450th year of Shakespeare’s Birth. The ‘Globe to Globe Hamlet’, directed by the theatre’s Artistic Director Dominic Dromgoole, is a completely unprecedented theatrical adventure and will be performed right here in Antigua this coming Tuesday, September 2 at 8 pm on the historic grounds of the Copper & Lumber Store in Nelson’s Dockyard.

Wines will be provided by Bryden’s Cuvee and food available on the lawn of the Copper and Lumber Hotel from 7pm. Hamilton’s will be open to ticket holders only, serving drinks and snacks from 6pm. Come early and enjoy being party of history in Antigua.
